South African leather has a reputation for excellence. Our tanneries pay close attention to every detail of the processing journey to ensure our premium leather has a consistent texture and a smooth finish.
Many South African leather processing companies rely on traditional vegetable-tanning methods to produce leather that improves with age. This process uses natural tannins from organic materials, resulting in leather that ages beautifully. Although vegetable tanning can take several months, it is eco-friendly and non-toxic — making it safer for both the environment and human health.
